All About The Memories

My sisters are here…yay! Iyah and I fetched them at the airport this afternoon. It was a bit difficult going to Changi because of the weather, it rained and I mean really rained so much that you can’t clearly see the anything outside. Luckily Iyah and I reached Changi airport before it started to come down really hard. Their flight got delayed so we waited for them for a bit. The plane haven’t even landed yet when we reached the airport. Fortunately the airport here is not like the airports back in Phils. where people wait outside behind the steel railings together to a lot of people under the hot weather(this is why I hate going to airports back there). Here you could actually be inside the airport, have coffee at Coffee Bean or eat at Burger King or Delifrance, it is fully air conditioned and you could actually have a seat while waiting. So around 5pm I saw them going to the conveyor belt to pick up their luggage, they immediately saw us and the three of us had smiles on our faces…well Iyah was smiling too. We had snack at Burger King first before we went home.

I’m so happy they’re finally here. This is going to be a fun month!

In can be a bit scary but the truth is that when you go into surgery sometimes things doesn’t turn out the way you want. Yes even in plastic surgery like a nose job for instance, having problems after surgery is not uncommon and it really happens. It is part of the risk you take when you decide to go under the knife I guess. This is why about 5-12% of patients go through revision rhinoplasty every year. Always do a proper research and understand every angle of the procedure first before deciding to go under the knife. Be prepared for anything that can happen and always have a back up plan just in case.  Of course it is also good to go to a reputable surgeon and make sure you are fully aware of what it is that will be done.

Bollywood movies are really popular here. I don’t know any of the popular actors and actresses but I always see them on TV though. I’ve recently that there are bollywood videos available for viewing on the internet. Now I can show these to my sister and she will know what I’m talking about.

Iyah’s not six months old and it is just amazing to see how much she have grown over the past months. She’s very active now and a very curious baby. Whenever we go out she gets a lot of attention from strangers, she’s just so charming and always smiling at everyone. She have this giggle that would make anyone smile at her. She’s now sitting down more often and have a very loud and distinct cry. Just this morning I saw her holding on to the railing of her crib for support to stand up and my heart skipped a beat, now we have to adjust her crib again it is a bit scary now that’s she mobile. We have to be really cautious, I don’t want any accidents. I bought her 3 pairs of shoes yesterday at Mothercare. I’m not a big fan of those shoes with characters from disney or whatever. I just want cute shoes with flowers or laces, no cartoon characters for her. I was only planning to buy a white one since her white shoes are a bit too small for her but I saw cute little pink and yellow shoes as well so I bought those as well. Hubby can’t understand why does she need to have matching clothes and shoes…well duh she’s a girl….lol. I know shoes and clothes doesn’t really have to match but I want to so he doesn’t have a choice in this (*wink wink*). We’re going to feed her different types of solid food now that she’s six months old, I hope she doesn’t have any allergies like me.

Last month I accidentally deleted a lot of files from my embellishments folder. I was upset because it was my fault and I was even more upset that I didn’t have any backup of those files. So there goes money down the drain, I paid for those and it was unfortunate that I was the one who deleted it unintentionally. For this reason I’m thinking of signing up IBackup – Online Storage,for an this way I have my files safely stored in case my files get corrupted or accidentally deleted once again.

I saw my cousin’s homecoming photos yesterday (she’s a freshman now) and I just love her homecoming gowns! Well she had two, the first one she wore on that special occassion and the other one was for back up. What can I say she’s a smart girl and she was really excited about this event to she bought two gowns just to be on the safe side. I remember how excited I was for my prom night, well that was nine years ago but hey who doesn’t remember their highschool prom. Every girl wants to look pretty at their prom that is why choosing the right outfit is as important as finding a date (I didn’t encountered any problems with both). Anyway my cousing did her research online and found a lot of sites on gowns and formal dresses. She found one that she loved and that was what she wore that night. I think it is also important that you love the dress you’re wearing above all. You can’t feel confident wearing something you don’t like and when you’re uncomfortable in your dress, its not fun.

Oh yes I’m a digital scrapper first, and now I’m trying my hand at paper scrapping once again. So I wasn’t planning on doing anything like this, I thought I’ve given up on paper scrapping…I tried before but I wasn’t successful. I have an ABC book for Iyah but that was because I attended a class, on my own I can’t accomplish anything. But then we were at the mall this afternoon so I decided to drop by at the scrapbook store to see if they have any new ideabooks, they don’t have anything I don’t already own but they have tons of gorgeous scrapbooking stuff. I was immediately drawn to the papers, yes a long aisle full of papers then I saw the flowers and I knew I was in trouble. Bottles and bottles of Prima flowers in all sizes and colors, oh I love all of them. Needless to say I didn’t go home empty handed. I bought lots of Heidi Grace goodies and more. Now I’m off to try and make a layout…

If ever one day I decide to go under the knife I want to be sure I will be in good hands. The site is really helpful to him because of the many categories they have available, from camcorders to cell phones you name it. If it is a gadget it is most likely you’ll find a review about it. We’re helping out my dad to find the best lcd tvs in the market today so he could choose one for their home. We had the same TV for like ten years and I guess the time has finally come to buy a new one.

I like surfing the internet for all kinds of stuff. I shop online, pay bills, chat with friends, read interesting articles and many more. The internet had become a common source for information. I get my daily dose of celebrity gossip and breaking news by reading different websites. I came to know of people I might otherwise never heard of through my daily internet browsing. My recent find is an article about George Lindemann Jr who is an avid art collector and benefactor of museums in Miami. I like that I get to learn new things and get to know interesting people everyday.
