Great Discounts

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

It is possible to get great discounts on Disney Tickets is you know where to look. It can be overwhelming to choose from a huge lists of options when going to Disney theme park but I guess it is just a matter of what you want to do and your budget. The internet is a great source of good deals for the theme parks, dinner shows and attractions in Orlando. You can find the best and lowest prices if you search for it online. There are websites dedicated in giving its customers nothing but great offers. I for one appreciate a good discount when I see one, the more savings I get on tickets means more money for shopping for souvenirs for me. Just check out OrlandoFunTickets.com and you’ll see what I mean when I say great discounts.

Watch this

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

I have lots of little video clips of my darling little one so I thought I’d share one here. She’s been doing lots of really cute things lately and I couldn’t stop capturing small snippets of it on video. I only use my camera’s video function so the quality isn’t the best. Maybe I should ask hubby to leave the video camera lying around (somewhere high where little hands can’t reach it) so I could grab it when I need it.

My bestfriend and my gear

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

For the past twelve months and a half my pump has been my close ally…my companion…my buddy. I’ve had two pumps eversince I became an Eping mommy. For the first four months (if I remember correctly) I used the Avent Isis manual pump and it was great, until I broke it. Well the duct inside broke due to everyday (make that five to six times a day) use. I bought the spare parts but seeing that I will be doing this for a while hubby insisted I buy an electric one. So I bought the Avent Isis Uno electric pump, and it was great. It made expressing milk easier and less tiring (for my hands). So our list of Avent products in the house aside from the pumps are the following: 15 Avent Airflex Feeding Bottles (we have both 4oz and 9oz) – it used to be 18 but we lost 3 of them, Avent via cups – for storing milk in the freezer, Avent Magic Cup, Avent soothers – we have about 8 of these, Avent Thermabag, Avent Express 6 Bottle Electric Steam Steriliser and last but definitely an important item Avent Express Bottle and Food Warmer. Now you can say we’re a fan of Avent products here (lol).

Anyway I posted this because a friend asked me what items I use since she will be giving birth soon.

Schooling

Anyone who plans to pursue an online degree should consider having a look at the curriculum capella university offers to its students. Since it was founded in 1993 they have been accredited to offer graduate online degree programs in various fields such as business, information technology, education, public safety, and psychology, and bachelor’s degree programs in business and information technology. This fully online university currently has nearly 20, 000 students enrolled in different degree programs all over the US. The university aims to offer nothing but the best education to their students. This is something I would really consider if I want to improve myself and my skills. It is a huge advantage in the work force when you are constantly upgrading yourself to be better.

Baby Books

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

We were at the mall this afternoon so I decided to check out The Times bookstore to find more boardbooks for Iyah. She’s into colorful boardbooks lately and it is so cute to watch her read by herself. I even made a scrapbook layout about it which you can find here if you want to have a look. So I got the book above (Baby Gund Colors), it is a boardbook so it is sturdy, the size is just right for baby hands and it full of colorful illustrations that attracts her attention. I also got the Baby Gund My Day and  Baby Einstein Animal Homes. I now add these three books to our little stash of books. I plan to buy her more books in the future, I want to play by ear first so I don’t get everything all at once.

On Toy Recalls

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

Since Iyah received more clothes and few toys on her birthday I plan to go shopping for toys appropriate for her age next week. However all the toy recalls I’ve been hearing about lately makes me concerned. I know that in case any of those toys are available at local toy shops here I’m sure that they will take it out immediately. I’ve seen announcements on Toys R’ Us and they had four toys that we’re recalled, I was glad we don’t own any of them. I’ve seen the latest child safety recalls and I am now more mindful of what products I buy for my baby. It is sad that some popular are trusted brands were also included. I for one loves Fisher Price toys and that’s one of the few brands I buy often. I’m sure they’re doing everything they can regarding this situation but as a parent I am concerned about the safety of my child. I hope more measures could be done to ensure the prevention of future recalls.

Goin’ To Disney

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

My cousin and his family will be going to Orlando next week and I help him get great discounts on Disney Tickets. He’s one of those people that’s not yet a big fan of the internet and online transactions but he was pleased with the deals I got for him. Of course I was able to find what they needed online. It was overwhelming to see all the options available for the theme parks, dinner shows and attractions. I was pretty sure I got them the lowest prices available. I know they will really enjoy their first trip at Orlando as a family.

Yum Yum

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

Remember the restaurant I was talking about a few days ago? Hubby and I went there this evening, just the two of us. Yeah it was a date (lol). So we went to Sakae Teppanyaki and the pic above is the photo of their table setting with their appetizer which is a salad. I think this restaurant is a sister company of Sakae Sushi, another restaurant we love (we love japanese food). Sorry no more pictures of the chef while cooking our food or our food itself. Anyway they have set lunches and dinner, the set dinner was more expensive (must remember to come there during lunch next time). I got the chicken set and hubby got the beef set. The set meal consists of our main dish (chicken/beef) with Salmon, Oysters, Tofu Steak, Veggies, Miso Soup and rice. The portions weren’t really that big though. The food was nice, definitely coming back there again. Oh the manager (or supervisor) was pinoy, I’ve been seeing a log of managers, sales staff and service crews lately now that I think about it. The last time we were at New York New York a lot of the service crew we’re also pinoy. It is nice to see a kabayan as they would call it.

Weekend Plans

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

I originally wanted to go to the zoo today but then it is a special day for us Digital Scrapbookers so I think I’m gonna posponed our little field trip. Yes today is the National Digital Scrapbooking Day and it will be field with lots of sales, challenges, contest, chats for digi scrappers like me. I think I’m gonna stay home today and have fun with my digi friends and scrap. I’m in the mood to scrap today, I’m almost ovewhelmed with the new products I have to work with for my CTs but I’m loving all the goodies and I plan to work with it this weekend. Being on CTs makes me scrap more and I’m happy with that. Anyway I’ll leave the rest of my scrap talk on my scrap blog. I think hubby wouldn’t mind staying at home either, he’s currently addicted to playing NBA Live (the latest release I think) so a change of plans wouldn’t be a problem. He did promise me that we would go out just the two of us though, I saw this Teppanyaki restaurant yesterday and I want to try that. It’s been a while since we had one because the old place we use to go to had been closed so it would be nice to try a new restaurant.

Suited for a cop

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

We were watching this action movie this last night (SWAT) as per hubby’s request and he brought up the discussion about the 5.11 Tactical Pants the police officers used. I like having conversations with my husband but this is one topic I would rather he discuss with a friend. I wouldn’t say I’m entirely clueless when it comes to this because I know of a website that sells police gear. It is a cool website too, seeing everything there is to see when it comes to police gear and equipment.
