Today is the 29th and the last day of the month, yeah I almost forgot this year is a leap year. I only remember when I saw an ad on TV about a certain local movie here with the same title. Anyway I’m just saying that tomorrow it will be the third month of the year and it seems like the first two months just passed me by. March is also my birthday month, I’m not entirely happy that I’m a year older but I want to be positive about it. Afterall I have what I wanted, my life is where it needs to be and I have a wonderful family whom I adore and love. Yeah I’ll be turning 26 next month and I’m sort of freaking out that I’m really an adult now (like it didn’t occured to me when I got married and had a baby…lol). I can’t mess around anymore and party til 5am like we use to do in college. I have to be responsible and focus on what matters most to me, I think I’m doing good with that. I just need to stop thinking about the magic number, it is not like 26 years of life passed me by and I didn’t do anything so I have nothing to worry about. I didn’t just let my life slip away, I lived everyday of it with happy thoughts, optimism and with wonderful people around me. In fact I’m thankful to God that I am here, soon to be celebrating yet another year of life, happy and healthy. A mom and a wife, just like I dreamed I would be.

I’m feel so sleepy today. I went to bed at around 2am and woke up as 7am this morning. And mind you I didn’t scrap or did anything in front of the laptop, I was in front of the TV…lol. Hubby gave me season four of Grey’s Anatomy and well I can’t just watch one episode when I have the entire season in our Pinnacle Show Center can I? So I watched five episodes, I swear if I started earlier I could have finished the entire season in one sitting. So yeah saying that I love Grey’s Anatomy is an understatement. But American Idol was on last night and we had to watch it (I love love love David A. but that deserves another post). I woke up wanting to sleep some more but I can’t, arrgh and I don’t have coffee anymore…gosh I miss my coffee of days like this.

I think finding ways to learn more things is a good thing. It is always fun and exciting to be able to do something new to improve yourself. It could also be helpful in your career. Thus I think this is why more and more people are considering online degrees as a way for them to learn something new that will help their career. I know of such institution that has been offering online degrees since 1993. Capella University is an accredited, online university that offers graduate degree programs in various fields business, information technology, education, health, human services, public safety, and psychology, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, health, and public safety. They currently serve more than 19,900 students from all 50 states and 56 countries. They are commited to providing academic excellence. One of their PhD student was named superintendent of Wyoming school district last year.Teresa Chaulk is pursuing a doctorate in adult learning from the online university, this is pretty impressive. Two pairs of Iyah’s shoes arrived yesterday, now that was fast! It took only less than two weeks shipping time, and I of course I’m happy with that. I thought it would take a month or so but I’m not complaining. The ones that arrived yesterday are the gold and pink ones. Since I only ordered the white one last Friday I expect it will arrive in two weeks as well. Now I’m very satisfied customer, so satisfied that I just placed an order for two more pairs of sandals this morning.
I got this from Alpha’s blog too. I thought it would be fun to try…
Hehehe I did poorly I think. I haven’t practiced in a while and I wasn’t really fast in typing to begin with. I remember my typing lessons back when I was a sophomore in highschool, we used real typewritters back then and our teacher would go around checking everyone’s work. And I use to have this antique typewritter my dad got abroad on one of his trips. I used it until my senior year before I switched to an electric typewritter then a computer.
I got this from Alpha’s blog…

This is my favorite sandals for Iyah, it is perfect because it goes with anything and it is really pretty. We’ve been asked several times by other moms at the mall where we got this pair. It is from Gymboree and I ordered it online. I haven’t really seen a great baby shoe store here, aside from Crocs and Gap everything other store we went to doesn’t have what I was looking for. Sadly she outgrew this pair of sandals, I must admit I tried to fit her into it even when it was a tad too small for her (lol).
I really love this pair, so I went online and got her a new one…on a bigger size! I’m not sure when it will get here and I did pay for international shipping but I don’t care, I love this pair. Oh I bought her two more pairs too…

The colors are a bit off but these two are really pretty as well. My little one will have lots of sandals like me, lol.

1. She loves Barney. We have a few dvds now and I plan on getting more, she really into the show and she would watch the entire thing. So every morning before mommy’s Martha Stewart show she gets to see that purple dinosaur.
2. She loves her pacifier. I’m now cutting her pacifier time to only when she’s in bed. I discretely take it away the moment she wakes up (because if she noticed she’ll cry). If she sees it lying around she’ll definitely get it so I hide it from her.
3. She loves sweets. When she sees us eating cake or ice cream she’ll ask for it, this evening when we finished a portion of the cake she cried because she wanted more…lol. I don’t give her sweets often but when she does eat cake or ice cream she loves it.
4. She loves the water. She loves taking baths and would sometimes be upset when its over, she loves playing with the water coming out of the shower head. She loves swimming too, of course she can’t swim yet but she likes sitting in her float and splashing the water.
5. She now cries when daddy leaves for work in the morning, that is when she see him walk out the door…if she doesn’t then it’s okay.
6. I let her eat a little bit of everything. I hope she doesn’t grow up to be a picky eater. We started out with baby food in jars but now she eats what we eat.
7. She doesn’t like to drink water. I mix it up with her juice so she could have enough fluids.
8. She loves giving kisses and is just adorable and sweet.

I was tagged by Alpha to post a toothless smile of my little one, I love this photo but I couldn’t find it so here’s the layout instead. Oh I love toothless baby, Iyah’s teeth didn’t show up until she turned one so I had many months of toothless smiles. Now she has six teeth and it looks like two more on the way and she doesn’t like it when I’m cleaning her teeth. Just the sight of the soft cloth or baby toothbrush and she’ll shut her mouth tightly. Oh well…
