When Iyah woke up this morning she has rashes on her face and when I changed her diaper I saw more rashes on her tummy and legs. I was worried of course, you know when you are a first time mom and know nothing about these things it can be quite scary. So I immediate YMed two friends who I know would be online and called another friend to ask about it, I also searched the internet for information then called hubby from work. He went home during lunch time accompany us. I could tell she’s well because she’s playing and smiling but I wanted to be sure there’s nothing to worry about so we went to the clinic. It turns out she has a viral fever rash, something that is not uncommon in babies. She did have a slight fever last Friday and Saturday but was well since Sunday. The doctor gave us some cream to put on her rash in case it gets itchy but she’s not scratching the rashes so I’m not applying anything yet. Except for the rashes on her body she’s really fine. We were asked to monitor her temperature every six hours though and so far it is normal. Here’s what I found on the internet about her rash…
Viral illness – the most common rash suddenly appearing on your child is rash due to a variety of viruses. Some viruses can be easily identified, including chicken pox, fifth disease, and roseola. Most viruses, however, do not cause their own specific type of rash as chicken pox does. These generic viral rashes can have many different appearances, such as lacy or pimply, raised or flat, bumps, spots, or blotches, and they often (but not always) start on the trunk, and then spread to the extremities.
The most important thing to understand here is that if your child has a fever or is not feeling well, and breaks out in one of these generic rashes, then it is probably a harmless virus and nothing to worry about. The rashes should be gone by the end of this week.

Yes we have a pet, a fish that is. A friend of ours gave us their Louhan last year and since then we’ve been taking care of the little fellow. Well this weekend the poor thing didn’t seem to be feeling well. Our fish wasn’t feeding well and got some little white spots on its body, I knew it was sick. I was scared it will die, I don’t like it when they die. Fortunately he didn’t. Hubby changed the water, put salt in it and some medicine he got from the pet store as well as change the filtration wool. All that did the trick and our little pet is back to its normal self again. I wonder if they have pet supplements for a fish?

I think with all the advancements in modern technology these days it is not uncommon to find out that than 50% of doctors own a PDA (personal digital assistant) or smartphone to keep up with their appointments and meetings. It seems that a medical reference software is like an extra limb. There are also PDA medical software by companies, such as Epocrates, Inc., that can be credited for making pocket-size devices a staple in physicians’ lab coats. They pride themselves with the Epocrates medical reference software which is now used by over 500,000 healthcare professionals. With the Epocrates’ drug guide loaded on their PDA or smartphone, clinicians can immediately access the information needed to make prescribing decisions, this is really such a huge help for them. This drug reference guide is available for multiple devices and offers clinicians a free medical Pocket PC software, medical Palm software and medical Windows Mobile software. Perfect for someone who is always on the go.
This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

You Should Live in a Big City |
![]() You don’t want anything in particular out of life… you want it all. You crave new and exciting experiences. And you get bored fairly easily. Only very big cities can keep you entertained and stimulated. |
I don’t really consider myself as a vain person but I like to think that I take care of myself both inside and outside. I’m not very good in keeping up with a healthy diet but I try my best to prepare healthier meals. As for skincare I don’t make it complicated but I make sure I cover the basics. I just hope that one day when I need it I could find something similar to Spider Vein Treatment, Dallas Texas has to offer. I don’t have spider veins thankfully but I know that a the right doctor is ereally important in getting rid of spider veins. There are many solutions to spider vein problems, large and small. Many of the treatments for smaller spider veins are simple and cause minimal discomfort with notable improvement in appearance almost instantly which makes it less scary to someone like me. Some of the usual treatment to spider veins are Sclerotherapy, Transcutaneous Laser and Intermittent (or is it Intense) Pulsed Light (IPL), LASE and Ligation. As I’ve said I don’t need this treatment right now but it is good to know a thing or two about it.
1. Have you tried running far away from home alone? How does it feel?
I have thought about it a couple of times as a teenager, never did it though.
2. Who or what is most beautiful to you?
My daughter. She’s the most precious thing and I love her to bits.
3. You are still sleeping and suddenly someone wakes you up. What would be your first reaction?
Well Iyah usually wakes us up in the middle of the night to ask for milk, I’m use to it now.
4. What’s your significant other/partner/husband/wife calls you? And what do you call him/her?
Oh gosh this is going to be embarrassing! He calls me Labs (I tried to make him change this but it’s been 8.5 years and I’m not successful). I call him Babe.
5. Someone is knocking at your car window, and you see a little girl selling fruits for $1. Are you going to buy one or just ignore her? Please be honest.
It depends where we are really. My heart goes to those little children who sells things or cleans your windshield for some change but I’ve heard or people getting robbed on the road so this makes me cautious too.

Nothing,lol. Just stayed at home.
9. A random photo off the web…anything at all that you think is worth posting. Post it here.
I still need my coffee so I’ll probably add something later today.
10. Why did you chose that picture/image?

I know I need to make an effort to lose weight. I want to shed a few pounds but I’m not in need of extreme measures to achieve my ideal weight again. I just need to exercise which is very difficult for me to do right now. I know that there are people who goes through a Gastric Bypass which is generally a weight-loss solution for the very obese. Sometimes for health reasons they really have to. How the person can benefit from this is quite easy, with the surgery you will feel full faster, thus reducing your intake of calories. The stomach and intestinal tract are altered and literally pass over a portion of your stomach and intestines. I’ve read about several gastric bypass surgery San Antonio Texas that’s why I know a little bit about the procedure. As with any other surgeries there are also risks involved such as bleeding, infection, gastritis, vitamin deficiencies, vomiting and Dumping Syndrome (Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea). This is why another alternative can also be considered which is the gastric band or the LAP-BAND® system. Since the procedure is performed laparoscopically and is minimally invasive with quick recovery times.
I saw this at Alpha’s blog, of course I had to take the quiz myself

I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop on my free time and I’ve stumbled on a lot of interesting websites because of it. I don’t really have a real topic in mind when I surf the internet so whatever I find that appeals to me I read and browse. This morning I came across omaha and read some articles on that site. I didn’t really need an Omaha Personal Injury Attorney but I read about Nebraska’s Personal Injury Lawyer Larry R. Demerath anyway. It is good to read about someone who does help others that are in scenarios like Motor vehicle accidents of all kinds, from dirt bikes to semi trucks, Farm accidents, Workplace and construction accidents and Recreational and boating accidents. It is great for people who were hurt in an auto accident or a serious injury on the job to know that there are lawyers like Larry Demerath that can help.
