When you have an older car the tendency is that it needs more maintenance and repairs. Our car back home requires more attention now that it used too. Eventhough it is not used often since we’re not there it still needs to be checked regularly. The option of buying a new one is out of the question because we only stay back home for a couple of weeks every year. We might as well just have it properly maintained so we have a mode of transportation when we come for vacation. Besides my parents have a car too and it’s quite new so we can use that  instead. I don’t know anything about cars so you can’t ask me about Radiators and expect an answer. I however know that we need to have that checked the next time the mechanic come for maintenance check. I’m thankful that my daughter is a healthy baby, at 21 months we’ve only taken her to the doctor once for cough, colds and fever. So overall I would say we’ve never had problems dealing with her medication. When she was got sick last March she had about five different medicines. I guess it was the usual medicine they give to children with cough, colds and fever. I’m glad we didn’t have to deal with those that I’ve never heard of yet of I would wish that I had a medical drug reference software installed on my computer to find out what they are for. It turns out that Epocrates medical reference software is now used by over 500,000 healthcare professionals these days. I think it is very useful to them since Epocrates’ drug guide is loaded on their PDA or smartphone which I’m sure they carry with them wherever they go, they can have immediately access the information needed to make prescribing decisions. The company also launched a free drug reference for BlackBerry devices and has a downloadable drug guide for iPhone devices.

We went there while we were waiting for my sister to arrive, it was her birthday so she took us to a nice restaurant for a fancy dinner. Hubby came from work too so for a while it was just the little girl and me reading books. She loves the place, so much that she can’t stay put for too long. She had to go walk around, touch the books on the shelves, smile at other kids then come back to me to read a little. It is great the there’s a lot of libraries here and all are pretty nice. This one is inside a mall and is the nearest to our place. So we can shop, eat and read all in one place (great place for mommies).  We will definitely go to the library more often.

Yes he was teasing me because as much fun as we have when we go for vacation, it is also stressful for me because there’s a little girl that I have to keep happy and comfortable while we’re away. You know how kids get when you take them out of their routine, they go a little fussy so it’s not always as relaxing as a vacation should be. Anyway if he will take us to a nice resort with a lot of amenities and a great view like Azul Blue Hotel + Spa and El Dorado Seaside Suites then maybe I won’t mind the stress at all. Actually there’s a lot and I feel bad for not writing about it because I will forget some (or a lot of them) and I call myself a scrapbooker (lol). So my baby is now 21 months old. I’m already planning her birthday party: I have a few prospects but I still can’t decide. Some of the locations are good but it’s a bit far and I worry about how the guests will go there. I have to choose a place first before deciding on the theme and other things. It is exciting and sad because before I knew it she’s two years old.

She loves piggy back rides. You mention “piggy back” and she’ll come running towards your back and wrap her arms around your neck.

She sings the abc, some of the letters we can understand but the rest just rhymes with the sounds in the song.

Loves to color, I have to watch her though or else she’ll color everywhere (my husband worries about our off white walls…hehehe).

Undress herself with minimal supervision. Tries to wear her shoes too.

Moves the furniture around.She loves pushing the chairs and her high chair all over the place.

Eating well. She’ll eat anything now, I’m not sure if she’s eating a lot but at least she’s not picky.

Reads her books on her own. It’s fun to watch how she reads aloud and points at things.

She has 15 teeth now, some just erupted and some are halfway there. It doesn’t bug her anymore.

That’s some of the things I remember for now. I just want to post before I forget about it again. She is indeed growing up.

I’m not into exteme sports, especially those that involves my body getting hurt. So I think you will never see me with paintball guns, paintball goggles and airsoft gear nor hear me talk about it at parties at all. However my husband does find it interesting and was actually keen on trying it out. Well he has to do it without me because I would be scared to death watching him try to dodge shots being fired at him.
