What Flavor Popsicle Are You?

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

You Are a Cherry Flavored Popsicle

You are sweet and friendly. For you, summer is all about doing your favorite things.
You are a nostalgic person. You love old fashioned things like ice cream trucks.

You savor everything. Every taste of summer, the feeling of the sun, the smell of the beach…
Of all the types, you love summer the most.

Food Choices Wk.2

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

This week it is all about your ULTIMATE COMFORT FOOD

1. Mcdonalds apple pie and chocolate sundae.

2. The $2.50 chocolate cake from our neighborhood bakeshop. It’s cheap but it’s yummy!

3. Plain crackers. It used to be Sky Flakes but I found one that is a little bit more salty so I made a switched.

4. Natural or salted cashew nuts. You know the one you get from the grocery store.

5. Tropical mix Jelly Beans.

I think that’s about it for me. I wanna know yours.

Cable Show

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

I never knew you could presidential dollar coins and other kinds of collectibles on Cable Shopping Network. If you think it is cool to see new products on TV and even spend like an hour watching the show then you’re like me. I don’t watch it regularly but sometimes when I catch it while flipping channels then I’ll stay put for a while. I think their goal is to provide easy access to a wide array of products and market it to more people. Clearly there’s a lot of people watching the show and placing orders too, I bet they’ve had thousands of customers. What I like are the kitchen tools, the show makes me want to buy the product and cook. Of course I knew I wouldn’t really cook a lot but still the idea of having a certain product from the show on my kitchen is cool. Me and my dad are alike, he watches the show too and I think he placed two orders so far. My mom was not too happy about that but she couldn’t do anything when it was delivered to their home.

Nine Years

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

Nine years ago today hubby and I first met. It seems like it was yesterday but it’s been such a long time. I’m not sure what we will do today, it’s kinda hard to have a date night on a weekday when you have a toddler to think of. I’m just a sentimental schmuck today remembering that day. It changed my life, I didn’t even knew it back then that person I was meeting was the person I’m going to spend the rest of life with. Here we are nine years later…married, parents…happy.

I have to mention that I gained weight too (lol) but that’s okay.

News from home

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

We talk to mom and my youngest sibling every week or so. They’re doing well despite not having a helper for a while. My sister is still adjusting to her new school and we’re hoping she’ll make good friends soon. We decided to transfer her to another school so she could find new friends that will help her do better at school and not the other way around. She’s a good student really but you know what happens when there’s bad company, she’s young and peer pressure can get to her. Hopefully this time around she’ll be in the right crowd. She grades last school year were good but knowing her we knew she could do way better. And also the new school is not that far from our home so she don’t have to wake up really early. My dad was talking to me about fractional ownership and I think he wants to buy a piece of land again in the province. I’m not sure how that will go since he’s not around much to really deal with this himself but I like to keep him informed. Looking forward to talking to them again soon.

On The Go

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

This is my little girl’s stroller. Before I gave birth to the little girl we were already looking at strollers at baby stores. I didn’t want just any stroller, I have a specific brand in mind. Since we’re having a girl I wanted a pink stroller too. I was really picky when it comes to this and flimsy looking ones wasn’t good enough for me. It was great that I found what I wanted and it’s really cute. Now almost two years later this was the one of the most used baby item we’ve purchased. It was well worth the money and still sturdy.

Couch Potato

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

For the past few days I’ve watched the latest season of Criminal Minds, CSI Miami, Ghost Whisperer and Grey’s Anatomy. My husband thinks that it’s crazy that I finish the entire season in a day, oh well it was great to know what will happen to my favorite characters on the show. I like watching the entire season at one go because then I don’t have to wonder what happens next. I’m just glad none of the character I love will be needing Boston resumes anytime soon. It would be tough to see anyone leave the show. So now I that I’ve admitted that I’m a couch potato I’m going to end this post.

Feast One Hundred & Ninety Six

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

Appetizer
When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
Last Saturday. After two years of wanting to perm my hair, I finally had the guts to do it, now I have my curls.

Soup
Name one thing you miss about being a child.
Not having a lot of responsibilities and getting what I want most of the time. Seeing the world in a different perspective (and not the reality it is today).

Salad
Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.
I’d pick Olive Oil.

Main Course
If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
Mandarin. I’m mistaken for Chinese sometimes and people talk to me in Mandarin, it would be nice to know what the heck they’re talking about.

Dessert
Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…
A mommy of two (maybe 3?).

Her Gift

Posted by iamjacq under My blurbs

It’s my sister’s birthday next week and she’s planning on taking us out to dinner. She’s looking for a nice restaurant we’ve never been before and I think she found a lovely place, she’s not telling us where yet but I’m sure it’s going to be great. I’m now thinking about what to give her, it’s a bit challenging now that she’s working than when she was still a student. Now she can pretty much buy the things she want I don’t have any ideas what more she would like. One of my options would be a gold bangle, a girl can’t have too much jewelry right? She likes wearing bracelets so I’m sure she’ll be happy to get a new one. I better hit the mall this weekend to checkout several stores then, hopefully I’ll find one that fits her.
