All About The Memories

Sa wakas po ako ay may lahok na rin sa litratong pinoy, matagal tagal ko na rin itong hindi nagagawa. Ang larawang ito ay kuha sa mula sa zoo noong isang linggo. Ang aking asawa ay may apat na araw na bakasyon kaya naisip namin na dalhin ang aming anak sa zoo.  Maganda at malinis ang zoo, masayang nag ikot at tumakbo sa paligid ang aking anak.

Finally I have an entry for Litratong Pinoy, it’s been a while since my last entry. This photo was taken at the zoo last week. My husband had four days off work so we decided to take our daughter to the zoo. The zoo was very nice and clean, my daughter happily roamed around and ran around the place.

Saying goodbye to this camera of ours. While it was a good camera and be bought lenses and filter for it, now it’s time for a new and better one. ETA: We bought the new camera but I haven’t taken any photos yet. I’m now shopping for the accessories (which is so much fun). I wish I could say the same for travel medical insurance because I have to find out more about it too. I’m excited to learn about the new camera, there’s a lot of buttons I know nothing about, I will read the manual first (lol). It wasn’t my camera of choice but since my husband is buying it for me he gets to pick the brand. Anyway I get to make it a girl camera so I’m fine with that.

Everyone is still asleep in this house so I have a little me time I wanted to share our zoo adventure yesterday but I guess I’ll just write another post this afternoon. I wanted to talk about Anoretix too but I have to know more about it first. I’m not sure where we will go on this fine Saturday. I guess we could just go the park since I’m pretty sure the little girl is pretty tired from yesterday’s trip. I better run and have some coffee before my me time is over.

1. When was your first kiss and where?
- I was 15 (smack lang po ito…it was my junior prom).

2. When was your first real relationship and how long did it last?
- I want to say it was with my husband (but that would be a lie, lol). When I was a senior in highschool. It lasted for a year and a half.

3. What age were you allowed to date?
- Hmmm my parent told us we could date when we graduate from college (but of course I started way before that).

4. What’s the craziest thing you did (for love) when you were a teenager?
- Since I wasn’t allowed to date (or talk on the phone with guys for that matter) I would secretly go out on dates.

5. How long was your longest relationship and what’s the secret?
- With my husband. We met in 1999 and nine years later we’re still happy and in love I think it’s a matter of loving a person for who he/she is. No relationship is perfect but if you can love someone for being his perfectly imperfect self then it will last a lifetime.

6. How long did you date before you decided to settle down?
- So we met in 1999 and had our church wedding in 2005.

7. How did you know he was the ONE?
- When we broke up. Yeah after a year of being together we broke up, and when he came back I knew he was the one for me.

8. Now, at what age will you allow your kids(s) to date?
- Tough question. I knew being a strict parent won’t work (clearly it didn’t work on me) when kids really want to start to date so I’m not really sure yet when we will allow her to date.

9. When it comes to your kids dating, will you be a cool parent or a strict parent?
- I want to be a cool parent (and let the dad be the bad guy). I want my daughter to be able to talk to me about these kind of stuff, like how the date went etc. I didn’t have that kind of relationship with my mom so I want to do things differently with my own kids.

10. What piece of advice can you give to your child when they start dating?
- Not because I want to be a cool parent doesn’t mean I will stop parenting. I will tell my kids that they have their whole lives ahead of them so they should just enjoy being young and not rush into the grown up stuff. That they should be responsible and prove that they are worthy of the trust we their parents give them.

We went to Ikea and had lunch there. I always love to eat at their resto first before going to their showroom. Of course I ordered their Swedish Meatballs and it was delish. The little girl had her nuggets and fries and hubby got chicken for himself. We had apple pie for dessert. Oh Iyah enjoyed her lunch very much.

Wednesday morning. I should be doing something important this morning. I am only halfway done with my projects due this week but I’m not really up for it. I have a tummy ache, so much for having breakfast at 7am to start my day. I usually have coffee for breakfast but this morning I had a croissant, so much for starting the day right. Nope I didn’t take any diet pills, just a croissant. So I guess I should rest for a bit, maybe go back to bed and see how I feel in an hour or two.

I have a lot of things going on right now and this blog has been neglected for a bit. I have a new blog which I’m currently updating regularly. It is a mommy blog so everything about the little girl will be posted there from now on. I will still be updating this blog, only it will be more about me, and other things not related to the princess.

I have two projects I need to finish this week and after that I will be start working on another project that is a bit more complicated and requires more time. Busy is good because it means more moolah for this mommy (lol). No time to think about weight loss pills or exercise right now, I need to focus on what needs to be done this week.

Friends ask me if I’m a WAHM (Work At Home Mom) or SAHM (Stay At Home Mom), well I’m not sure to be honest. I know I do stay at home to take care of the little girl but I do earn some too. So maybe I’m half and half, lol. Of course my little girl is still my top priority.

Okay now I’m rambling, I better get back to what I was doing before this.
