All About The Memories

I have a lot to be thankful for and since it’s Thanksgiving in other parts of the world I’d like to take a moment and post it here.

I’m thankful for my daughter. She brings us so much happiness and we love her to bits. She’s a beautiful child and her loving nature just melts my heart.

I’m thankful for my husband. For being a good provider and a loving father. For being my partner and my friend. * I will be extra thankful if I could pry him from playing WOW so he could spend more time with me.

I’m thankful that I get to be a SAHM for me daughter. It wasn’t an easy decision and we have to make some sacrifices but seeing my daughter everyday and being the first one to see all her milestones makes it more than worth it.

I’m thankful for my little jobs online, knowing that I have a little something to contribute for my family’s needs is nice.

I’m thankful for the internet. I connect with friends all over the world, do my shopping and earn a little through the word wide web. * I will be extra thankful if I know a thing or two about online trading.

I’m thankful for coffee. It perks me up in the morning.

I’m thankful for my sister. For being a great aunt to Iyah and for helping around the house.

I’m thankful for Twilight, I finally have something else to do on my spare time (how little that might be) besides being on the computer.

I’m thankful for our cameras (DSLR and P&S). I have a lot of fond memories captures in photos.

I’m thankful for scrapbooking. I finally found a hobby I was able to hold on to for almost three years and I’m good at it too.

I’m thankful that we get to belong to a country that is safe and clean.

I’m thankful for playgrounds and community libraries, Iyah loves to go to both.

I’m thankful for friends…new and old, real life and online. It is great to have someone to talk to about anything and everything under the sun.

I’m thankful for the good health of my family, immediate and extended.

I checked Golden Village this morning, and the release date for Twilight here is still on the 18th of December. Ugh it’s such a long wait! I envy those who will watch it this week. This is just as annoying as the emails I’ve been receiving about Phentermine. I can’t wait for what my friends have to say about the movie, good or bad it doesn’t really matter to me…I just want details.

I’m not sure. Well I’m not sure if it’s okay to take my little girl to watch this movie. I worry that she’ll freak out in the dark theatre and the big screen. This is a cute movie though, I’m just scared to try and bring her with us when we watch it. Maybe we wait until she turns three or something.

Christmas season is the time where most people gained a few pounds because of all the great food that seems to be almost everywhere. Some are eager to lose those few pounds immediately and turn to the best fat burners to help them get back into shape. I’ve never given that much thought yet but I know that I’ll definitely be enjoying the food, I’ll worry about the extra pounds after new year, why spoil the holidays right?

I’m not a big fan of cooking. I do cook, you know everyday meals but nothing fancy. I love our kitchen though, the dark wood cabinets and black granite (I’m not sure if it’s granite but it’s nice) countertop looks really nice. I’m not sure about the kitchen faucets but the sink is deep and I like it too.The built in dish drainer is from Ikea I think and I reminded my mom that something like this would be nice in their house. Speaking of cooking, we’re running low on groceries and I better go to the grocery store or risk starving everyone in this house (lol). I wonder what will be on the menu this week.

It’s Monday and here’s what I have to do this week…

Go to the bank.

Grocery shopping.

Finish a birthday guestbook for a friend.

Print Stories In Hand pages.

Finish Iyah’s first year layouts album.

Print documents needed for MCYS.

Go the post office to get stamps.

Nothing exciting this week but with a little girl in the house there’s wont be a boring day. She’s still asleep right now so that fun will start a later

My mom is thinking of doing a bit of renovation in our house. She wanted me to find nice kitchen sinks online so that she could have an idea of what’s nice. I’ve never been a fan of the stainless steel kitchen sink that they have right now. It is not deep so when you wash the dishes you end up with water splatters on your shirt. I hope she decides to go for a deeper kitchen sink this time. I’m gonna help her find one. Better yet I’m gonna ask her to wait until my dad arrives so that he could help her out.

Shopping is a form of workout. Yes it is! Imagine how much calories you burn as you walk almost all day around the mall trying to find Christmas presents, I bet that’s a lot of calories. Of course the effect wouldn’t be comparable to the best diet pill but still I think it will help. Well I’m not sure that my wallet appreciated my form of workout though but it was fun going out with my sister. I still have a few things on my list that I’d like to buy this week, I’ll see if the little girl is in the mood to go out today.

I’m starting to shop for gifts, I think it’s about time it’s already the middle of November and I don’t want to rush come December. Of course I go to Etsy (one of my fave online stores) to find some of the gifts. I found a seller selling these cute wristlet pouches. I think my sister is going to like these, oh I might get one for me too. There’s a lot choices at Etsy, it is really addicting to browse. I know she’ll appreciate this and not the Samsonite luggage my dad wants to give her. But then again a nice luggage isn’t so bad.

I’ve been dying to go to Borders to checkout the calendar myself but I haven’t made the trip yet (it’s quite far from where we live), of course I want to get a copy for myself (if you haven’t noticed by now I REALLY like Twilight). A friend mentioned last night that she was going to that mall (where Borders is) so I asked for a favor, I wanted to make sure they have it in stock before I go there myself…and guess what she bought me a copy!!! Yay I don’t have to go there myself! She’ll pass it to hubby on Monday, I’m excited to see the pages.
