When I was preparing for my wedding I wanted to do a lot of the wedding items myself. Unfortunately I was so busy I was able to do only one thing, our wedding cord. I used swarovski crystals for the cord so it was a bit heavy but it turned our really nice as it sparkles. It was no match with the costume jewelry from HolstedJewelers.com because they’ve been around since 1971 providing exclusively designed jewelry, gifts and accessories to millions of satisfied customers. What’s special is that their beautiful items are not available in any retail store so each piece is a great find. I love one of a kind pieces that’s why I was so proud of our wedding cord, it was something I made for our special day and it might not be perfect but it was indeed made with love.

Make your Stick Figure Family at FreeFlashToys.com
I just thought these stick figures are so cute not to share here.
We went to Esplanade today. Since it’s the weekend we were complete.
Of course we tooks lots of pictures. Too bad we didn’t brought the tripod so there’s always someone missing in the photos (the one taking the picture). After walking around the Espanade and Merlion Park we went to Gluttons by the Bay for dinner. We feasted on satay, sotong, lots of veggies, stingray, fish and pineapple rice. After dinner we went to Marina Square to walk around for a bit before heading home.
I’m thinking when my little girl starts preschool I have a little bit of time in my hands. Unlike what others might think SAHMs have a lot on their plate so getting some free time is nice. I’m thinking about taking some classes to learn more about photography, scrapbooking and designing. I’m not sure I have that much free time to get a degree online though that would be great too. Of course one must do a proper research first before enrolling to just any online classes. Capella University is an accredited, fully online university and the leading online graduate school for working adults. They have a lot of graduate degree programs to offer in the fields of business, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, and public safety.They currently have more than 23,400 students from all 50 states and 45 other countries. The online university was founded 1993. It’s great that you can study online these days, perfect for busy individuals who wants to improve their skills.
These are the new pendant lamps that hubby installed himself. We replaced the existing ones with these to match our dining chairs. The existing ones were a tad soo small for our dining table and it wasn’t centered so we decided to change it. Oh and these didn’t cost us a lot too. We got all the parts and the shade from Ikea. We wanted a different shade actually but that was a bit pricey so we settled for this one instead. Maybe in the future we could get the shade we really like but for now this will do. I’m pleased with how it turned out. And old pendant lamps didn’t go to storage, I used it as vases because it was crystal and it was a waste to be put away.
We went to Sentosa today. The weather was fine so we were able to explore the island. We were suppose to take the cable car but my mom was scared to we took the train instead. As usual the little girl had a lot of fun. I wanted to take pictures at the beach but as soon as sand got in Iyah’s sandals she didn’t want to go any further. Anyway it took us the better part of the afternoon to go around Sentosa and Vivo City. We met hubby for dinner before we head home. It was a fun day….

We dined at NewYork NewYork at Citylink Mall before we headed to Suntec City for our Hippo Tour. I like the food there and there’s a lot of filipino crew there who are always nice. They also serve big portions so that’s an added bonus for my dad. Here’s some of the food we ordered….

We were stuffed after our lunch. It was good that the place wasn’t crowded we were able to enjoy our meal. They have comfy and cozy dining area fit for a big group like us. Here’s some pictures of the place….
After our lunch we then went to Suntec City as planned.
My little girl loves playing at the playground. She was lucky to have her Daddyloo taking her to play in the afternoon. I get tired running after her, oh and it can be hard to take her home once she’s there. As you can see from the photos she loves the slide. Oh and if you haven’t noticed by now that her favorite stuff toy Minnie Mouse is with her all the time you can see here that she goes wherever she goes.
Back during the days we were preparing for our wedding, I signed up for an online forum where everything wedding related was talked about.
