I’ve been pretty busy lately with all sorts of things. Apart from the usual chores around the house and my little girl who keeps me on my toes I’m working on a project which I’ll share next month. It’s pretty exciting but it’s keeping me in front of the computer for hours. I have thought about browsing for laptop deals online so I can have one and I could be able to do my work in the living room. But when I think about it I prefer a desktop more so maybe I’ll just get a bigger monitor. I will share a photo of my workstation one of these days, it’s working pretty well for me right now but a bigger monitor would be so much better.

Ten years ago today hubby and I first met 
We still celebrate this day even after we got married. How time flew us by!
How can we not take someone who is visiting Singapore for the first time to Sentosa? Of course it’s one of the places a tourist should visit when they come here! We went to Sentosa and explored around Merlion Walk, Images of Singapore, Siloso and Palawan Beach and went inside Underwater World. I felt bad that we missed the Dolphin Show and Sentosa 4D Magix but as parents with a toddler in tow we know that things rarely turns out as planned (Iyah was asleep for sometime thus we missed the 4D show).
Anyway we still had fun. I think next year Universal Studios Singapore will be completed, I’m excited about that. I just hope that we could get in without paying the fee of $100 just because it’s inside the integrated resort (as locals we need to pay a certain fee to enter the integrated resort). I don’t want to gamble but rather go straight to the theme park anyway.
I haven’t talked about Formula One much since the start of the season mainly because my favorite team isn’t doing to well. Ferrari only have 40 constructor points to their belt and no podium finish for both Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen (I still love him though). This put the team on third place with Brawn Mercedes and RBR-Renault ahead of them. I don’t know what happened to the Ferrari parts causing the team to struggle to stay on top. It is sad though that Felipe Massa had an accident in Hungary, although he is now recovering quite well from surgery I’ve never seen an accident like this since I started watching F1. The accident involved him and Brawn Mercedes driver Rubens Barrichello. I just hope that Massa recovers from his surgery and the team picks up more constructor points in races to come.
One of the places we visited when Adel was here was Clarke Quay. We went for a river cruise along Singapore river and it was the first time I went at night. The view was fantastic but because it was night time it was a challenge for me to take photos. We didn’t have a tripod and I have shaky hands so the result were mostly blurry photos (much to my dismay). I did manage to get a few good ones like these….
Anyway Clarke Quay is a popular night spot for expatriates, lots of clubs and restaurant lined up and it was really tempting to have a drink or two (or more). Of course there’s no need for international background check here and some places are filled with people who seem to be having fun! Next time I will ask my dear husband to go out with me and checkout one of the clubs there. I remember back in college how we go clubbing on weekends….the margaritas and dancing, ahhh those were the days my friend.
