I hate to see any of my relatives or friends for that matter go to a alcohol rehab to seek treatment. Unfortunately it is easy to give in to an addiction if you are going through a difficult time and have no one to turn to for help. Sometimes denial is the most common response when confronted with a question about addiction. Yes addicts cope by denying they have a problem, and my doing this they are sucked into the addction even more. It is sad that more and more youth these days are getting lured into this, how they are not strong enough to resist and how no one is around to guide them to the right path. I believe that seeking treatment is not a sign of witness, it shows courage…courage to face the problem and do something with it. Acknowledging that you can’t do it alone and asking for help takes a lot of guts. It is never too late to get your life back, an addict can change.
