I wanted to go to Tagaytay with the family so I scheduled a day for it. My dad however had an appointment at DFA that morning so we waited for him to reach home thus it was after lunch when we left the house. We just met my aunt and cousins at a gas station along Ortigas and we were on our way to Tagaytay, that was the plan anyway. We were already in Taguig near the toll gate when my dad slowed down and told us he left his driver’s license at home, oh no! We were disappointed (mom was a bit mad) but we still want to go even if it meant reaching Tagaytay late in the afternoon. So my dad called my uncle to have him bring his license somewhere in Ortigas and we’ll just meet him there rather than us going back all the way to our house. It still took my uncle more than an hour to reach Ortigas and I was already hesitant to go, but the majority decided we still go so we did. We reached Tagaytay at about 4:00pm, we couldn’t go far (I wanted to go to Calaruega but that wasn’t happening) so we settled for Picnic Grove instead, we got some nice pictures so that was good enough for me. We went to Leslie’s for dinner, this has sort of became a family tradition…whenever we’re in Tagaytay we would always eat at Leslie’s (someday I want to introduce a new tradition so we can eat somewhere else). We had a feast and everyone was so full afterwards. It was nice to bring Iyah there, the last time we were in Tagaytay she was only three months old
Before we head home we stopped by Colette’s for our buko pie. We had a great day despite the earlier mishap.

I haven’t had time to really go shopping yet, we’ve been here in Manila for about five days now but we’ve been busy going places and spending time with family. I really hope that tomorrow after our family portrait session I get to have time to shop. I’m not a picky shopper, I’m here in Manila afterall so I’m looking for great bargains. I love getting items on sale, affordable prices that doesn’t sacrifice quality is great too. I’m hoping I could do some shopping for me and hubby but I got the feeling that the little girl will get more clothes as usual. No big and tall clothing for us though since we’re on the petite side on clothing sizes. I think it would be easier to shop if I’m alone or with my sisters rather than hubby and the little girl. Looking forward to it….

Thanks for the article from Laura Ryan
My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years now. Both from Nashville, we met in Atlanta at a night club. Coming back to Nashville together, every summer since then we pack the car and hit the road for Atlanta for a great day in the city that brought us together.
We purchased a home together 3 months ago in the heart of Nashville. It is so beautiful! We went the extra mile and had a home security system installed to keep us protected at all times. I made sure I set the home security alarm before we left, as my boyfriend never seems to remember to do it.
When we got to Atlanta we first visited some friends. We all met up at the mall where we had lunch and enjoyed some fantastic shopping.I love the hospitality in Atlanta! it is the best in the south! We then headed to a popular bar where my boyfriend had a few drinks and we all shared in some great laughs and special times! It was sad to return home, bu a relief as well. Atlanta and Nashville are both in the south, but two totally different cities! click here if you want to get a great deal on a home alarm system.

Today the three of us and my sisters went to the mall. We took public transport because it was coding day for my parents’ car. Iyah loved riding the tricycle from our house to the entrance of our subdivision. She kept saying “this is so much fun!” and I can see the look of delight on her face. I had to make sure she was safe of course, and I was holding on to her like glue. After the tricycle ride we took an fx ride to the mall, she didn’t enjoy this ride as much and asked if she could ride the “red one” instead (referring to my parents’ car).
When we got to the mall I had a few hours of ME time and had a facial and a mani/pedi while hubby took Iyah to watch Toy Story 3 (for the second time). After that we went to shop a bit and then had dinner before heading home.
It was a nice day all in all. I missed shopping at SM (lol).

We had an uneventful flight to Manila. Our flight went smoothly without a glitch, the little girl was excited about riding the airplane and she did really well and was behave the entire flight. I’ve been telling her about this vacation for a few weeks now and she was really looking forward to riding the airplane and got excited when we finally boarded and took our seats. She didn’t get scared during takeoff and landing and didn’t even need to hold my hands. She wasn’t able to sleep though, she tried but after while of lying down without any luck she gave up and asked for her coloring book and crayons instead. I’m glad I brought her books, coloring book and crayons because it kept her occupied. We landed as scheduled and we were cleared to deplane immediately, there wasn’t a long queue at immigration too so about 35 minutes after landing we were outside and were greeted by my mom and my sister (still in her school uniform lol) and my dad. So we’re finally here, I might need the best fat burner once we get back to Singapore because I’m already thinking of all the food I have missed and want to eat.
I will post pictures and blog more about our trip soon! Nothing changed much since I last went home which was three years ago everything looks the same from the airport all the way to our house. Still it’s good to be home.

When my daughter was in grade school, she was introduced to the wildblue internet when I bought her a desktop with printer that she could use to do her school projects. The internet became her main area of focus when she began to join online game rooms.
Her grades in school became better and better even though she was spending more time online that on studying. My purchase of a desktop as a birthday gift when she turned 9 was a step for the better as she used her private computer using direct tv wild bluesatellite internet to broaden her interests in the world by surfing the net.
Her computer also made her friends in school closer to reach than the telephone or visiting, as they were online for hours sharing homework and playing in their private game rooms. The friends that she made online are lifelong friends and even today when she is going away to school, her internet friends are constantly emailing her and letting her know how much her online friendship means to them.
For my part, that small investment in a desktop for my daughter at the age of 9 proved to be a small price to pay for the computer knowledge that she gained just by spending her time online.

I’m up, I’m up! I’m usually the first one to wake up when we need to leave and go somewhere early (because I need to use the bathroom first then take care of the little girl and I need to dry my hair) so here I am. Hubby and Iyah are still sound asleep and it’s still a little dark outside. In a few hours though we’ll be leaving for the airport for our flight to Manila. I’m so excited! It’s been a few years since I last went back home, the past few years our close family has been visiting us so we still got to see each other but I haven’t seen Manila in three years. I wonder how much has changed since I last went home, hmmm I guess I’ll find out later.

I must remember to pack the little girl’s vitamins and ours as well for the trip. We will be very busy thus very tired on during our vacation so we need to make sure we get our daily dose of vitamins, especially the little girl. Getting sick will definitely alter our plans so it is best to do everything we can to stay healthy. I don’t need any weight loss products just my vitamins for this trip. I will be praying for good weather during our vacation too….

When we arrive in Manila we will definitely be doing a lot of traveling, and since we will be staying mostly at my parent’s house we will be using their car too. Hubby can’t take his car since he doesn’t have a license anymore. My dad just got a new insurance for the car, he didn’t get one of the many cheap car insurance but decided to get a better one instead. It will be fun to go on a road trip to see hubby’s aunts in Pangasinan. I’m sure the little girl will have fun too, she’s already looking forward to it.

We only have a few more days before we leave for Manila and I have my checklist of things to buy and things to pack for our trip. I’m also trying to schedule what we have to do/where we will go so that we have a fixed plan before our trip. It’s so nice that I’m 95% off done shopping for pasalubongs and whatnot for the trip and come Sunday I will just start packing. We bought a new luggage and it’s purple, the other one we have is yellow (hehehe so colorful we won’t have a hard time locating both at the conveyor belt for sure).
