My mom asked my sister to email me a couple of life insurance quotes she got from an agent so I could help her decide which one is best for her and my dad. I told her she should get one from a reputable company since there’s been news about some insurance companies going bust. They’ve known the agent for years so she’s confident about the company too. She’ll be waiting to hear from me this week. I think she wants to make a decision before the end of the year.

When I give birth to my second baby I will get one of these bags…
I knew about this diaper bag line way back but I didn’t know it is sold here until this week when I saw it at the mall. It’s so pretty and could pass for normal tote bags but I love that there are compartments inside for baby essentials. This boxy backpack comes with a diaper changing mat you can easily roll when you need to change your little one. The touring tote is a bit on the smaller side but I like it too. It’s nice that there’s stroller clips to make it easier to hang on the handles. And how cute are the prints?!
We finally put up the Christmas tree and all the trimmings last weekend. Oh and all the Christmas lights for the living room windows too. I love twinkling lights at night, I like the colored ones the most. The little girl was wide eyed and delighted when she saw all the lights, she knows that Christmas is coming soon and that it’s going to be a nice celebration. She’s at the age when she can sit through longer stories now so come December I’m going to read her bible stories before bedtime. This is our first Christmas here at home, we’ve been around this area for more than two years though so we didn’t need cross country moving when we moved here. I love it here and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to call our home. I think we’re quite done getting the basics and then some for our home, of course decorating is a process so I’m still going to get a few items here and there.
I was going over some of my home decorating magazines and I saw this article about business plan consultants how an interior design firm transformed a boring office into a beautiful place to work. The before and after pictures were great, I bet the employees were more productive with a comfortable and organized workspace for them to do their job. It doesn’t always have to be the same old boring and plain office. I love all the storage space to keep clutter at bay.
November flew buy in a blink of an eye, I can’t believe we’re past the middle of the month already. I’ve been doing lots of things in real life that I’ve been neglecting my poor blogs. I still have a few stories to blog about that I haven’t been able to do yet (like talk about the little girl’s birthday party last month) and I hope I get to do that this weekend. In a few weeks my MIL will be here and she’ll be bringing a lot of things with her from back home. It would be fun to have her for the holidays, we won’t be going to any cheap all inclusive vacations but I’m sure we’ll have a great Christmas and New Year. It is especially nice since the little girl is excited about it too.
I love these cute canvass tote bags from Rootote! It comes in different sizes and prints you’ll be spoiled for choices. The fun prints above are just sample of what they have online. If you want a more sophisticated tote they have those too, me I like these fun ones here. I’m sure Iyah would find them cute too. This tote is perfect to have around when you’re running errands. I love the roo pocket of the tote which is adapted from kangaroo pouch, just nice for keys, mobile phone and debit cards. It’s nice when you don’t have dig through a tote to find keys 
I’m not sure I would be someone who would consider going under the knife someday when I’m older. It is however nice to read about how technology is helping a lot of people enhance their looks. I wouldn’t have known about hcg injections austin if I haven’t read about it online. I’m against it actually, if someone would feel better about herself afterwards then it is something worth doing. It’s just that I’m not sure it’s for me. Keeping up appearance can be a challenge when age is slowly creeping up on you no wonder more people are turning to technology to turn back the hands of time.
My little girl’s birthday party is only a few days away, I have lots of tidying up to do. Most of the birthday related things are already crossed off my to do list so all we have to do now is clean the house. I can’t make our place as nice as those Denver apartments but I will try to make it decent for guests I’m as excited as the birthday girl, she knows her birthday is going to be this Friday and I hope she enjoys herself. I know she’ll be shy at first but when she sees all the kids I’m sure she’ll playing and running around with them.
In a year or two me might consider redoing our kitchen and bathrooms, although we like our bathrooms now and I can live with the kitchen cabinets we could so much better. It would feel so nice to have a walk in bath designed according to our liking. I like these bathrooms below…
I don’t like clutter so I would love more shelves in the bathroom for toiletries and oh and a rain shower too. But right now I have to be contented browsing online and reading home decorating magazines.

I like the clustering of photos in the room above, I could do the same for Iyah’s room. The bright prints on the frame are nice too. It’s great that the frames we put in her room could easily be rearranged. I can just add bigger frames and cluster it with the ones I already have.
Cute how are those dandelions on the wall, I like dandelions. I decided to put inexpensive flower stickers I got from Ikea in Iyah’s room because I couldn’t decide what I really want on her walls yet. Dandelions are cute and I can buy bigger decals than what’s in the room above.
