I’m excited about the new iPhone that’s coming out next month. Not that I’ll be upgrading anytime soon or anything, my contract is still not eligible for upgrade until 2012 (gasp!) not to mention I have over two dozen cases for my 3Gs so I’m just gonna keeping looking at it for now. What I like most about it is the improved camera, it has five megapixels now with led flash and there’s a camera in front too which I think is great. It’s thinner than the current iPhones though I’m not sure I like the more boxy design. Can’t wait to see it at the stores….

Taking it slow
I hate it when I don’t feel well and actually need to lie down and rest instead of doing what I need to be doing. I rarely get sick and I can’t afford to be sick not when it’s school vacation and I have a toddler at home who needs a playmate, a teacher and a mommy. It’s nothing serious thankfully, I’ve articled about Mesothelioma the other day and it’s quite scary. I just need to take it easy today, drink lots of water and hopefully I’ll be better tomorrow.
Montana
This post from Jeanne Starr>
I live in Montana and love it. Although, as time changes so does the way we live our lives. I can remember when growing up, we all left our doors unlocked when we left the house, sometimes even wide open. The keys never came out of the ignition of your vehicles and parents felt comfortable sending their kids outside to play and knew that they were, for the most part, okay. Times have changed and so have our safety precautions.
Today I am not as trusting as my mother was. All the doors are locked when we leave the house and the alarms are set. I rely on Adt Security Montana to keep my home safe. Just because I’m home is not a reason to leave them unlocked. I make sure the doors are locked when we go to bed at night too. Hiding a spare key under the door mat is no longer an option today either. I have made spares and have given them to a trusted friend and a relative that live near me.
I always make sure I have my keys with me when I get out of the car and I double check to make sure the doors are locked. Most cars these days have keyless entry and you can alarm your car from the parking lot. This is a wonderful invention and I’m so thankful to have this feature for my car.
I also make sure I know where my kids are, who they are with and what they are doing. I still feel like I live in a very safe community and think this is a great place to raise children. I am just more cautious now.
GAP Reusable Bags

I have a couple of friends who started using reusable bags a while back and I thought it was a nice. When I saw this reusable shopping bag at GAP a few weeks ago I knew I should have one. Now this cute bag is in my purse whenever we go out, it comes pretty hand when we’re out shopping. It cost $5 when you purchase anything from the store, I got Iyah a cute pair of jelly shoes and this shopping bag. There’s a couple of designs to choose from, I’m thinking I should buy a few more to give my mom and my mother in law when we go back home for vacation in a couple of months. I hope GAP is still having a promotion
Their stories
It’s inspiring to hear and read about other people’s weight loss success stories especially those who managed to lose a lot of weight. My goal weight is not even half of theirs but here I am stuck and unable to shred a couple of pounds. I wish I can have the same motivation and discipline at like them. I would be reaching by goal weight in no time for sure but like always I fail to keep up with a regular exercise routine and keep on eating out restaurants and not counting calories.
Going green
I wonder if the herbal weight loss formula I’ve read about last night actually works. To me herbal stuff sounds less intimidating and maybe it’s something I might try in the future. I assume these would be made using natural ingredients and that’s less scary to me. I’m not sure about the taste though, would it taste better or not? Anyway I don’t think I would be jumping in the bandwagon and take herbal drinks myself. Oh which reminds me I have to make a quick grocery run before I start preparing for dinner tonight.
His Plan
So my husband gave in and signed up for a Blackberry plan for his phone. It’s good because without it he won’t be able to fully use all the features of his Blackberry. He could use our 3g mobile broadband but that means he can’t use the phone to call (which would mean he has to bring his other phone for calling) and that would be a major hassle. He got the cheapest data plan but I think it would be more than enough for him. He uses his phone mainly to read the latest news about apidexin scam and other things. I’ve had my iphone for four months now and I checked my data usage, so far I’ve used about 3.5gb and my plan is for 12gb a month so he should be fine with his plan. He is now figuring out the bells and whistles of his phone.
Pasir Ris Park

After the parent teacher conference at school, me and my mommy friends (with all the kiddos of course) went to Pasir Ris Park. It was my first time to go there and it was a fun experience. We had late lunch at Arnold’s a place that came highly recommended by the mommies, it was like KFC only much better. The kids had fun running around and picking up dried leaves and twigs while us moms chatted nearby. After our lunch we went to the children playground near the beach, it was huge with a lot of different play areas for the kids to enjoy. We didn’t go near the beach but the kiddos had fun at the playground. Iyah didn’t like walking in the sand good thing there was a lot of areas with grass ad rubber matting. Too bad I didn’t have my camera with me so I just took pictures using my iphone. We will definitely go back there next time with hubby so I could take better pictures. It was a great day indeed.
Kid’s furniture

I can’t wait for school vacation to start, I love that the little girl enjoys going to class everyday but a break from having to drop her off and pick her up from school is something I look forward too. I know she will miss her friends, her teacher and the school furniture but I know we’re going to have fun together. I’m already planning the activities we’ll be doing for the next few weeks, I have workbooks for you to do and new toys for you to play with.
Keeping a list
I need to update my grocery list before I make a trip to the store tomorrow. I don’t want to have to go back again because I forgot something for then nth time. The Grocery IQ app on my phone comes in handy, I don’t have to bring a piece of paper with me at the store but rather just glance at my phone to see my list. I don’t think protein powder would be on my list this week, milk powder on the other hand is on top of the list. The little girl likes to drink milk again so we’re buying more frequently, she went through a phase where she only drinks milk when she’s sleeping but that’s all behind us now. Good thing my list looks promising now, I think I have everything I need on the list.
