Wow the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy left me stressed out. It is the best season finale of the show to date and it totally made up for some of the so-so episodes this season. I’ve been hooked to this show since day one and the two-hour season finale is one of my favorite episodes. So sad for the characters who died, I’m just glad that none of the original cast was one of the casualties.
I know I watch too much TV because I recognize that Mr. Clark (the shooter) also appeared in an episode of Criminal Minds (my most favorite TV show), lol.

A friend of mine is going to attend a wedding next month and she asked me if I can help her figure out how to lose weight fast, did she asked the wrong person or what?! I told her I’m struggling with weight issues myself so it would be better if she seeks advice from someone other than me. If I can know the answer to her problem then I would be a happier person (but I don’t so there). Anyway I think she just joined a gym so she might have more luck losing those extra pounds than me.

School vacation is fast approaching and I’m hoping to use this time to really focus on losing weight (please please let me have the determination this time around). I know the best diet pills for women can help me but I also know that without proper diet (read healthy not crash diets) and exercise it would just be a vicious cycle of losing and gaining weight. I know a lot of women swear by these pills and there’s little to no side effects but if I don’t treat the problem pills could only do so much magic.

We had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market for Mother’s Day and this is what we ordered. It is very similar to Fish & Co. I think but I’m glad we tried dining there for a change. I still prefer the calamari at Fish & Co. though and now I’m tempted to ask my husband to go there this weekend. If you are wondering how I gained all the extra pounds now you know, I love to eat

Modern Family is a new show on ABC that is taking cues from family sitcoms of the past and flipping them on their heads. Created by Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd, this new comedy take a fresh look at a large American family in the mockumentary style made popular by shows like The Office.
The large family is made up of three separate, interconnected families. The first of which is the traditional family headed up by the frantic Claire, played by Julie Bowen, and the loveable oaf Phil, played to perfection by Ty Burrell; and their three kids. Then there is Claire’s dad Jay, played by Ed O’Neill of Married With Children fame, who is married to the much younger Gloria (Sophia Vergara), who has a kid of her own from a previous marriage. The other of Jay’s two kids is Mitchell, who along with life partner Cameron has adopted a Vietnamese baby. Now, this all may seem too much and far too complicated for a simple Wednesday night family sitcom, but the character banter and awkward situations make this one of the strongest shows on television right now.
Up until this point there had been little to no success crafting a successful late night show without starring lawyers, doctors, or detectives. Comedies have been hit or miss, and only a few like Two and a Half Men have broken through to any real success. Newcomers Levitan and Lloyd should be credited with making the sitcom personal again, and making the comedy real. The audience can relate their own lives to the lives of the characters on the screen. I’m glad direct tv in Seattle offers this show, I would hate to miss out on its comedy.

My dad gave me this for my birthday but since I already have an iphone hubby is using it right now. I was disappointed with that it didn’t have wifi and it’s not as user friendly like an iphone. I like how it looks but I haven’t really had the chance to explore its features yet but so far I’m still an iphone fan. We need to sign up for a blackberry plan for us to make full use of all the features but hubby’s current plan is not yet eligible for upgrade so we have to wait for a few months.

Anyone who has given birth would know that it’s not easy to get back into shape after gaining so much weight during their pregnancy (most ladies I know anyway). stomach fat loss is something almost all mommies long for. In my experience sitting in front of the computer can also be a culprit for those flabs, that’s what happened to me. Still a lot of women are struggling with weight after giving birth. I never thought I would be “healthy” and it’s too late when I realized what I did to myself. Now getting back in shape will a long and hard process but I’ve taken the first step, hopefully my will don’t falter.

Sigh I’m craving for onion rings at SuperDog again, no I can’t have one again since we just went there last week (I think the service crew remembers the little girl and me by now). If only I can get diet pills that work and lose those extra pounds overnight I could indulge all these cravings of mine. No I’m not pregnant (yet) but I do get cravings every now and then. Most of the time I give in but I try not to these days.

Okay I’ve been posting a lot about homes…living room, bathroom ideas I like and this post in no different (lol). Well you can blame the latest issues of Home & Decor and Square Rooms for this, browsing the pages of the magazines inspired me to lookup sites online about homes. I found kitchens I like….
Our kitchen is my least favorite part of the house, when I first saw this house I told my husband that I love everything except the kitchen. Now it wasn’t practical to redo the kitchen just yet because the previous owners just redid everything about a year before they decided to sell. When the time comes that I could redo the kitchen I would go for something like the kitchen on the first photo. I love the dark wood cabinets with white cupboards on top for contrast. We have a smallish kitchen and it’s a bit narrow too so I think having the white cupboards would make the space seem more spacious. I like the dark wood of the kitchen on the second photo too, I wouldn’t go for white counter tops though, it is very hard to maintain.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mommies out there! This is my 4th year celebrating this special day for moms. It has been years filled with happy memories and challenges but I enjoyed every moment of it, thank goodness I won’t be needing prototype 37c anytime soon (lol). We celebrated yesterday because we’re going to a friends housewarming party later. Nothing fancy just a nice dinner for us three. I got a purse and a new case for my phone from my two favorite people in the world, and lots of kisses from my little girl. It was a nice day.
